A Review of Thermally Sprayed Polymer Coatings

چکیده

Abstract Thermal spraying of polymer coatings has been applied for many decades. Initially, the focus was primarily on corrosion and wear protection. Manufacturing performed with traditional methods, such as flame plasma spraying. Later, thermal spray technologies were developed, interest increased in producing or polymer-composite from different materials advanced processes. Additionally, novel application fields studied, use thermally sprayed anti-icing anti-fouling purposes. This review summarizes standpoints materials, processes used selected latest fields.
